No. On SA-35 models, the magwell uses the factory mainspring housing pin and existing frame bevels. No cutting, welding, or permanent alterations are needed. Installation is reversible.

What grip panels fit this magwell?

The magwell’s profile is designed to work with LOK Grips panels made specifically for this component. Standard SA-35 or BHP grips will not seat correctly against the magwell flange. We recommend ordering LOK Grips’ dedicated panels at the same time.
