No trigger bar modifications needed. Full disassembly of the frame is not required – the shoe swaps in from the trigger-guard side after removing the trigger pin. Allow 20–30 minutes first time.

Will this work with my M&P Shield?

No. The SD/SDVE/Sigma trigger bar geometry and frame dimensions differ from the M&P line. This trigger is designed exclusively for the hinged-trigger Sigma and SD series frames.

Do I need to install a spring kit at the same time?

No. The trigger can be installed as a standalone part and will still reduce pull weight 10–15% versus factory. Adding the spring kit (sold separately) will further reduce pull weight and smooth the draw stroke, but is not required for function.

Will the safety still work if I install this trigger?

Yes. The center-mounted pivoting safety replicates the factory safety engagement geometry. When properly installed, drop-safety values remain unchanged from OEM specification. Verify function with a snap cap before live fire.
