It addresses two common issues with the factory BHP trigger system: excessive trigger over-run during slide cycling and inconsistent finger placement due to a narrow, curved face. The flat face profile, wider at 0.31” versus the factory 0.25”, allows the shooter to place the finger lower on the trigger face, increasing mechanical leverage through the pivoting system. Will this trigger work with a magazine disconnect installed?

Yes, the trigger profile clears the magazine disconnect arm on most SA-35 and BHP frames. If interference is noted, the disconnect can be removed per standard BHP armorer procedure.

Does this trigger reduce pull weight?

No. This component is a trigger shoe replacement only. It does not alter sear engagement or spring tension. Pull weight will remain unchanged. Pair with a reduced-power trigger return spring or sear spring kit for weight reduction.

Will the over-travel pad require fitting on every gun?

No. The pad is sized to fit most SA-35 and BHP frames without trimming. Only on guns with tighter slide-to-frame tolerances or aftermarket slides may minor pad trimming be required. Use a fine file or sandpaper, removing material in small increments.
