This Failure Resistant Extractor is a direct replacement for the factory extractor in Springfield Armory Hellcat pistols. It addresses inconsistent extraction and premature hook wear common with OEM parts, particularly after high round counts or when running suppressed. The extractor is machined from a billet of heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel, then given a Melonite finish for corrosion resistance and surface hardness. Requires a 1/16″ punch, brass or nylon hammer, and a small flathead screwdriver to depress the extractor plunger. Remove the slide, drift out the extractor retaining pin, compress the extractor plunger, and slide the old extractor out. Install the new extractor in reverse order. Average time: 10-15 minutes. No fitting required on standard Hellcat slides. Some aftermarket slides may require minor extractor tuning.

Will this extractor work with a Hellcat Pro?
Yes. The extractor geometry is identical between Hellcat and Hellcat Pro slides. The same part fits both platforms.
Do I need to replace the extractor spring?
It is recommended but not required. If the original spring shows wear or compression, replace it with a new factory spring (sold separately). The extractor itself does not include a spring.
Does this extractor require a different ejector?
No. The factory ejector works correctly with this extractor. The hook geometry is designed to work with standard Hellcat ejector angles and ejection ports.
