This Durable Striker for the FN 509 Series is a direct drop-in replacement designed to solve the primary failure point of factory units: striker tip breakage from repeated dryfire. Factory strikers are not rated for the mechanical shock of an empty chamber, leading to cracked tips and unexpected failures. This component is certified for 125,000 dry strikes on an empty chamber — the result of over 3 years of R&D and 1 million dry-fire cycles. The sear catch geometry is refined for a crisp trigger break while maintaining proper sear-to-striker engagement. Machined from heat-treated tool steel with a Nickel Teflon finish for lubricity and wear resistance. Includes a proprietary buffer that mounts into the slide to dampen the dryfire shockwave. A 6mm x 60mm socket head cap screw is included as a removal tool for cleaning and maintenance.
