This drop-in trigger assembly replaces the factory trigger in Gen 3 and Gen 4 Glock® pistols to reduce over-travel, shorten reset distance, and clean up the uptake without compromising factory safety values. The stock Glock® trigger shoe introduces noticeable creep and a long, mushy reset that slows split times and makes consistent trigger control difficult. This component solves that by providing a center-mounted pivoting safety that maintains drop safety while delivering a defined wall and a crisp break. The result is a trigger that lets you track the reset more reliably and get back on target faster.

Key Features
- Reduced over-travel: Adjustable over-travel stop screw allows fine-tuning of the trigger’s rearward movement after the break.
- Shortened reset: The trigger bar geometry is optimized to produce an audible and tactile reset that is approximately 60% shorter than factory.
- Smooth uptake: Polished contact surfaces reduce the gritty stacking typical of OEM triggers.
- Center-mounted pivoting safety: Maintains factory drop-safety performance while providing a wider, more consistent trigger-shoe interface.
- Direct drop-in: No fitting, filing, or permanent modification required. Replaces the entire trigger shoe and trigger bar assembly.
- Factory-safe materials: Injection-molded polymer body with a stainless steel trigger bar and hardened steel sear engagement surfaces.
Install Difficulty
Difficulty: 2/5 (Basic)
Tools needed: Armorer’s punch set (3/32″ and 1/8″), small hammer or mallet, Glock® trigger housing pin removal tool (or a paperclip), and a #0 Phillips screwdriver for the over-travel adjustment.
Estimated time: 15–30 minutes.
Notes: The trigger housing pin is the only pin that requires removal. Take care not to lose the trigger spring or the trigger bar spring during disassembly. Over-travel adjustment should be set after installation: back the screw out, then turn it in until the trigger stops just after the break, then back it off 1/8 turn.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this trigger work with a Gen 5 Glock®?
No. The trigger bar geometry and trigger housing pin location differ on Gen 5 frames. This kit is designed exclusively for Gen 3 and Gen 4 models.
Does this trigger require any permanent modification to the pistol?
No. It is a direct drop-in replacement for the factory trigger shoe and trigger bar. No filing, drilling, or grinding is required. It can be removed and the factory trigger reinstalled at any time.
Does the over-travel screw affect trigger pull weight?
No. The over-t
