This steel optic mount replaces the factory cover plate on FNX-45 Tactical slides to provide a direct, secure mounting interface for enclosed-emitter optics using the ACRO/MPS footprint. The factory dovetail-style plate system can introduce tolerance stacking and potential shift under recoil; this component eliminates that variable by replacing the plate entirely with a single-piece billet steel mount that bolts directly to the slide recess.

Yes, we recommend the Super Clamp for MPS optics. The MPS clamping range is narrower than ACRO specs, and the Super Clamp expands clamping range for a secure fit without over-torquing the mount screws.

Will this mount co-witness with factory suppressor-height sights?

Yes. The mount sits at the same height as the factory optic plate, so existing suppressor-height front and rear sights will co-witness through the optic window as they did with the factory setup.
