Yes, the extended face provides more clearance for basepads that sit flush or slightly proud. Test your magazine insertion and release with your specific basepads before live fire.

Will my holster still work?

Possibly, but not guaranteed. The .065″ extension may contact the holster body on tight-fit kydex holsters. We recommend checking the fit in your holster before carrying. If the release depresses under holster pressure, the magazine may drop unintentionally. If it contacts, you may need a holster with a relief cut or a different release.
