FAQ
Will this mount work with a red dot other than ACRO or MPS?
No. The mount is machined specifically for the Aimpoint® ACRO footprint (C-1/P-1/P-2) and Holosun MPS. Other optics with different screw spacing or body dimensions cannot be fitted without modification.
Does this mount require removing the firing pin or side plate?
No. The mount only interfaces with the top strap and the existing rear sight screw holes. The revolver’s action, cylinder, and firing pin system remain untouched.
Will the optic clear the hammer on K/L/N/X-Frame revolvers?
Yes. The mount positions the optic forward of the hammer channel on all listed frame sizes. Standard hammer shapes (including spurless or bobbed hammers) will not contact the optic body. Full-stroke dry cycling should be verified before live fire.
