This optic mount adapts the Romeo 1 Pro footprint to the Sig Sauer P320 RX Classic slide cut. The factory RX slide is machined for the original Romeo 1 optic; the Romeo 1 Pro uses a different mounting hole pattern and a larger lens housing. This component bridges that gap, providing a direct, secure mount without adapter plates that raise the optic’s deck height. The result is a lower bore-axis mount that maintains co-witness capability with standard-height front sights.
Machined from billet steel with a black oxide finish, the mount uses raised recoil lugs that engage the optic’s corresponding recesses. This lug system prevents shear stress on the mounting screws under recoil and keeps zero retention consistent across high-round-count strings. The mount accepts the Romeo 1 Pro with or without the factory steel shroud.

- Direct mount – no adapter plate, maintains lowest possible optic height
- Works with or without Romeo 1 Pro steel shroud
- Rear notch on Romeo 1 Pro co-witnesses with .400” front sight

Install Difficulty: 2/5
Tools required: Torx T10 driver, thread locker (medium strength, e.g., Loctite 243). Remove factory cover plate, position mount on slide, apply thread locker to supplied screws, torque to manufacturer spec. No filing, fitting, or optic re-zero required if removing a previously mounted optic.
FAQ
Will this mount work on a P320 M17 or M18 slide?
No. The M17/M18 slide uses a different rear sight dovetail and optic cut geometry. This mount is specific to the RX Classic cut (original Romeo 1 footprint).
Can I use the factory Romeo 1 Pro screws, or do I need the included ones?
Use the screws provided with this mount. The Romeo 1 Pro factory screws are designed for the Pro cut slide and may have incorrect thread pitch or length for the RX Classic slide.
Does the mount affect the optic’s battery compartment access?
No. The Romeo 1 Pro battery tray is located on the optic’s right side and is fully accessible with the mount installed. No need to remove the optic for battery changes.
